Fun day in the sun day!

Today was a great day! It was Oliver's first day to the zoo! If you know me, you know that the zoo is one of my favorite places so I wanted to make sure Oliver got exposed to it early! I want him to be my little zoo buddy! It was such a nice day out for the zoo! Sunny and 80! Zach and I didn't pay much attention to the animals though because we were so paranoid that Oliver didn't get too much sun and wasn't too hot! We did get to see some baby monkeys though..super cute! Monkeys, pigs, and goats are some of my favorite exhibits...I know, I know...farm animals?? They're just too cute though! Oliver got to see one of his favorite animals..the peacock! One of his favorite toys is Jacques the Peacock so he was very excited to see a real peacock! Not really, but I can pretend! I walked the zoo with Oliver in his Baby K'tan carrier and he loved it! I loved it as well..I love holding him like that and him falling asleep. After the zoo, we went to the mall. Daddy had to buy some work pants. Strangely, we left the mall with NO work pants, just a whole new summer wardrobe for daddy :) Oliver enjoyed the mall too! He got to walk around with mommy again and this place wasn't so hot! Again, Oliver fell asleep most the time. He is so cute when he sleeps! After we got home, we gave Oliver a bath to get the sweat and sunblock off of him and then Zach's parents stopped by to hang out with him. Oliver loves hearing Grandpa Kim's noises! Right now Oliver is fighting sleep...again! I tried putting him on his back again to be a good mom, but that didn't work so well! Juust went in and flipped him to belly and BAM stopped crying and sleepy! Of course we would have a child that didn't follow the rules! Oliver loves his belly though! Ever since he started sleeping on his belly his head control has improved greatly! He is doing so well looking around while sitting in his bumbo!
