I know, I know...
I could probably be THE worst blogger in history! I initially started this blog so that friends and family could check in on our life since we don't always get to see/talk to each other. So much for keeping them updated! After giving birth to Oliver, I have seen sooo many moms and their blogs and it makes me feel horrible! I want to share with the world my new miracle, Oliver! Also, I think blogging will give me a little outlet for myself. Well, I gave birth to Oliver April 20th at 9:02AM. My life changed forever! Oliver is THE most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. Growing up, I was never a baby/kid person. I had never changed a diaper!! Oliver has definitely changed that, but I am sooo happy he has! I love him so much and can't imagine my life without him! He has taught me a new love. I do NOT have much patience, but Oliver has actually taught me that skill! I love being a mommy! I already breached the subject of another child with Zach the other day :) Each day Oliver does something to amaze me and make me smile! Today he was giggling and smiling! He is doing so well with his head control and lifting up to his forearms as well! He is doing really well at night too! He is consistently sleeping 8-10 hours each night!! Yay! We have to work on naps though! Sometimes he does so well and has a little routine throughout the day, but other times, not so much. Today is a not so much day. He did have one three hour nap, but other than that, little cat naps is it. You can always tell he is having a bad nap day too because he is so fussy! Today Oliver doesn't seem interested in eating either. This morning after waking up, it was a different story. He snarfed everything! He has tapered off quite a bit the rest of the day though. Normally at night he stocks up like he knows it's his last feeding for the day, but he's not doing well with this feed tonight. Zach and I are both trying to feed him and put him down to no avail :) Oh well! We are slaves to Oliver, but wouldn't have it any other way. Hopefully I remember to check in tomorrow and update on Oliver's day!
